MEDICAL SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION
At Skincare Medical Group, we offer both permanent and semi-permanent scalp micro pigmentation. The semi-permanent option is often referred to as tricopigmentation. Both involve the process of a highly qualified practitioner implanting thousands of microdots into the surface of the skin, to simulate hair follicles. The treatments and their results differ due to the inks, techniques and equipment used. At our clinic, we use the latest technology to provide the most authentic hairline possible, and tricopigmentation is recognised by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery as a solution for hair loss. Both treatments are open to virtually everyone. They can be used if you have already had a hair transplant and wish to further densify your look. Both are also the perfect solution for those ineligible for a hair transplant. We are also able to camouflage scars including FUE and FUT hair transplant scars, and other imperfections on the head.
SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION FOR LONGER HAIR
Not all Skincare Medical Group clients want to shave their hair. We recognise this, and provide highly advanced scalp micropigmentation and tricopigmentation treatments for clients who want to maintain a longer hair length. Unlike standard procedures where the purpose is to mimic the appearance of shaved hair, our longer hair treatments reduce the contrast between the skin and remaining hair to produce a highly effective camouflage, and illusion of greater fullness and density. If you continue to lose more hair as you age, the pigmentation is already in place so you’re already covered. Density fill treatments are suitable for clients that have sufficient hair remaining.
